I apologize - I think I might have come on a little strong in my bafflement. :) I didn't mean to imply that the pill doesn't have any side effects, or that it's right for everyone - just that, y'know, it is right for some - many! people, and claiming that the pill affects all women in the same way is incredibly dishonest.

Also, not sleeping with dudes? No no aliaras, you have to get married and have babies in accordance with God's Plan! You must fulfill the Sacred Trust of motherhood! Don't even talk to me about sleeping with women, ugh. That's just icky, and besides, it's just as bad for you and for society as contraception. God wants your gametes!
